Greg served as general counsel to a 70 plus employee technology company, where he handled all legal in-house counsel work including joint venture and teaming agreements for new technologies and products; employment law; human resource issues; workplace safety and compliance;
risk mitigation; corporate formation, organization and operations; executive compensation; export import agreements; product distribution; relicensing agreements; corporate compliance; product labeling and safety; tax and franchise analysis; coordinate with outside counsel on tax, patent, trade, corporate governance; leasing agreements.
He has also advised small and medium businesses and startups regarding business formation, leasing agreements, human resources and employment issues, and manufacturing and distribution agreements.
During law school, Greg was honored by the award of the prestigious CALI Award for Excellence in Contracts. Further, in addition to serving as an extern for the Salt Lake County District Attorney’s Office handling criminal prosecutions, Greg interned for the U.S. Air Force JAG Corps focusing on military justice as well as government procurement and contracting issues.
Prior to attending law school, Greg worked as a legislative analyst and compliance manager for a major aerospace and defense corporation. In that capacity, Greg represented corporate initiatives before Members of Congress and their staff, and oversaw corporate compliance efforts related mandatory FEC, U.S. House, and U.S. Senate reporting requirements. Greg started his career by working for former Representative George R. Nethercutt Jr. (WA) focusing on defense and foreign affairs.
